The 2025 Canberra Rock Swap will be held from 9am to 5.00pm on Saturday 22; and 9am to 4.00pm on Sunday 23 March.

Location: Parrot Park, EPIC (Exhibition Park off the Federal Highway), Canberra.

Entry fee: nil.

Tailgaters and campers on site will be selling rocks, mineral specimens, crystals, jewellery, rough & cut gemstones, opals, and fossils.

The event is entirely outdoors in a camping area, with both campers and day sellers on site.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

If booked in advance through the club, a very limited number of powered camping sites are available. Plenty of space is also available for non-camping sellers, who can setup gazebos. Hire tables can be booked in advance.

The Winton Opal Festival is back in 2025 showcasing our fabulous Boulder opal.

Elderslie Street, the business center of Winton, will be closed to all traffic during the 2-day event.

  • Traders will set up on both sides and also on the middle grass strip, between Werna & Oondaroo Streets.
  • There is plenty of room to set up a gazebo and leave your car on site. If you have a larger vehicle, please advise how much room you will require.
  • Entry Proof of Public Liability is required.
  • No powered sites or security are available.
  • Book your accommodation early as this is the peak tourist season in Winton.
  • Entry is free to visitors
